Fire Up for Fun Run!  

We are so excited to cheer on our Lester Leopards on Sunday, September 28th, 2025!  Please read carefully for lots of details. Please also consider volunteering some of your time on Race Day here to help make this event a success! 

 

Race Packets

- If you registered for the race by Friday 9/19, your family's race packet was delivered to your *youngest* Lester student's classroom this week in a brown Trader Joe's shopping bag. If you registered after 9/19 (or if you decide to register all the way up until 8:00 am on race day morning!), you can pick up your race bin on Sunday from 7:30-8:15 am at the registration table. 

- Please promptly review your race bibs and t-shirts.  If there are any discrepancies, email FunRun@lesterpta.com.

- Be sure to check out all the info inside from our generous sponsors - including some goodies and savings.  Thank you for supporting the businesses that support Lester!

Race Morning 

- 5k Race starts at 8:00; 5k runners are welcome to arrive after 7:30am.   

- Bib pickup will be available from 7:30-8:15am.  Please respect our busy race morning volunteers by arriving no later than 8:15 for any race morning needs.   

- All Lester families are welcome to join us on the east blacktop at 8:30am.  Help cheer on the 5k finishers!  Visit our sponsors at their tables!  

- Welcome & Warm Up will begin at about 8:45am.  

- 1 Mile race starts at 9:00. 

- Remind your Leopards that in order for their time to be officially captured they must cross under the inflatable start line (not go around it!). 

- Awards Ceremony for 1 Mile & 5k races will take place immediately after the 1 Mile race concludes. 

- Please review the course maps below for both races, and plan accordingly for street closures that will be in place starting at 6:00am.

Hummer Park Family Fun 

After the Awards Ceremonies, head over to Hummer Park to keep the celebration going with family, friends, and browse fabulous raffle prizes.

 

- Cool down with a refreshing Kona Ice

- Strike a pose at the Signs & Love photo booth

- Sip coffee from Roasted Elements while catching up with Lester friends, old & new

 

- Raffle Time!

• On Sunday, 9/28, stop by the raffle tables to check out all the amazing prizes and teacher experiences, generously   donated by our local businesses and wonderful Lester staff.  

  • Tickets are $5 each or grab a bundle: 5 for $20.

The Fun Continues After Fun Run! 

- Experiences are community-hosted events for which ticket purchases serve as donations to Lester PTA. Check out this PREVIEW of upcoming Experiences (you'll need a GiveSmart account to view/purchase Experiences)! Mark your calendar for next Friday, October 3rd when these Experiences will be LIVE for purchase! Act fast - many Experiences sell out! These events are a great way to connect with Lester families.
