Fire Up for Fun Run!  

Our family-friendly 1-mile run/walk and 5k race event is one of two flagship fundraising initiatives for the Lester PTA. Over 35% of our programming budget is generated by the Fun Run and its surrounding activities (i.e. Experiences)! The goal for this year's Fun Run is to raise $25,000 -- which is reinvested into the PTA's programs and activities that benefit ALL Lester students!

We are so excited to cheer on our Lester Leopards on Sunday, September 27th, 2026!  Please read carefully for lots of details. Please also consider volunteering some of your time on Race Day here to help make this event a success! 

 

Please Note 

- Register here. 

- If you'd like to run both the 1-mile and 5k events, please register for each race separately. You'll receive a separate bib for each race. 

- Race Start Times:  5k - 8 a.m., 1-mile - 9 a.m.

- Register by midnight on September 4th to be guaranteed a t-shirt; registration for the run only will be available until race start time on September 27th. 

- Race timing bibs and t-shirts will be distributed to classrooms during the week of 9/21/26.

Carb Load Night

-Join us at Skuddlebutts on Saturday September 26th anytime between 11:00 am and 9:00 pm. Be sure to mention Lester and 10% of the proceeds will go back to our PTA!

Hummer Park Family Fun 

After the Awards Ceremonies, head over to Hummer Park to keep the celebration going with family, friends, and browse fabulous raffle prizes. 

- Cool down with a refreshing Kona Ice,

We are going CASHLESS this year! Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit card will be accepted.

 

Every raffle ticket and experience purchased serves as a donation to Lester PTA to fund all kinds of student activities and programs. On Fun Run Sunday, September 27th, stop by the raffle tables to check out all of the amazing teacher experiences. Don't forget about grabbing a spot at an Experience! Tickets are 10 for $10. Raffles close on Monday, September 28th at 7:00 pm. Winners will be emailed.
